Academic Accountability is part of academic coaching. Accountability guides clients on how to set and achieve goals, how to keep on course, and how to effectively meet deadlines throughout their educational career. This process empowers clients to be held accountable for their work through regular interactions.
Each client will receive an individualized plan and will learn:
How to strategize and improve executive functions such as organization and time
management as well as learn how to maximize productivity
How to prioritize studying, planning, and completing projects, such as academic assignments that involve writing and research
How to create structure while developing studying skills through increasing motivation and decrease procrastination
College transition is also available upon request. Most first-year students struggle with the changes that are associated with college life. Coaching offers support, adjustment assistance, social skill development, and guidance on navigating academic life. This offering will help in easing this transition while working with client’s in creating balance and connecting them to resources that will enhance their college life.
